Afrin | Ahrar al-Sharqiya faction arrests civilian demanding 3000 USD for his release, while military police arrest woman

 

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that members of Ahrar al-Sharqiya arrested “an outlaw” resident from Naza village in Sharan district and stole his car on December 3. The militiamen demanded his relatives pay them 3000 USD in return for his release.

In the same context, on 27 November, military police arrested a civilian from Sheikh Muhammad village in Raju district in the city center of Afrin and took her to its military headquarters without knowing the charge against her and to collect ransoms.

On 3 December, the house of an elderly woman from Sheikh Muhammad Ali village was subjected to an armed robbery by unidentified gunmen and they stole all the contents of the house, as well as solar panels. However, the elder woman did not sue armed robbers to rescue her life.
