Deir Ezzor desert | Russian jets renew airstrikes on ISIS hideouts

SOHR activists have monitored that Russian fighter jets have renewed their aerial bombardment in Deir Ezzor desert, as Russian fighter jets have executed intensive airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in the southwestern Deir Ezzor desert this morning. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Russian fighter jets renewed their strikes on ISIS hideouts in Al-Shawla desert in Deir Ezzor countryside, after suspension of aerial operations for nearly 24 hours.
The Russian airstrikes coincide with combing operations by regime forces, NDF and other regime-backed militias in the Syrian desert for the second consecutive day.

Moreover, Reliable SOHR sources reported also an attack by ISIS cells on positions of regime forces and their proxy militias in the southern desert of Deir Ezzor followed by violent clashes between both sides, amid unconfirmed reports of casualties.
