Ongoing violations in Afrin | Muhammed Al-Fateh member sells residents’ houses while Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah takes over properties by force

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that the Turkish-backed factions continued their violations against civilians and their properties through selling and taking over their agricultural land by force.

In this context, SOHR sources reported that Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah faction took over olive trees by force in Ma’raska village in Shiran district. Nearly 350 olive trees were stolen.

Moreover, Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah faction took over a house in Afrin city in Al-Ashrafiyah district by force, under the pretext that the house belonged to a supporter of the “former Autonomous Administration”, where the house was rented by the families of the faction. The house belonged to a civilian from Shirawa district.

On the other hand, a member of Muhammed Al-Fateh faction illegally sold a house to a militiaman from Libya for 1,400 U.S dollars, where the house belonged to a civilian from Rajo district.
