Old ordnance | Landmine explosion kills child in southern Idlib countryside

Idlib province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a child due to the explosion of an old landmine while tampering with it in Feylon town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of 640 people, including 82 women and 234 children, by mines and IED explosions and the collapse of cracked residential buildings in several areas of the Syrian territory in Homs, Hama, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and the Syrian South since early January 2019.
