Compulsory conscription | SDF arrests dozens of young men to enlist

SOHR activists have reported that ‘military police’ of SDF escorted with “Asayish” forces have set up checkpoints in al- Qamishli, al-Amuda and Darbasiyah in al-Hasakah province and other areas in Deir Ezzor countryside, arresting dozens of young men, deserters from Compulsory service, in a security campaign with the aim to drive them to mandatory service in their camps, in the early hours of Monday morning.

SOHR activists have just mentioned that Al-Asayish “internal security forces” mobilized their forces in Darbasiyah city in al-Hasakah countryside, because unidentified persons threw leaflets, which read in Arabic and Kurdish, “It is time to hold accountable,” in the primary and secondary roads of the city. Al-Asayish forces subsequently unleashed and destroyed the leaflets

It is worth noting that the security alert of “Al-Asayish” in Darbasiyah city coincided with another security alert of its forces in al- Qamishli city.
