“Money dispute” | Members of Turkish-backed faction storm house and kill smuggler

Aleppo Province: A young man from the village of Qara Mazraa in the countryside of Azaz was shot dead by a military group Al-Sham Corps, after they stormed his house and stole 4,700 US dollars.

According to SOHR sources, the killed man was a smuggler working for that group. The murder was committed following a dispute between the group’s members and the man over revenue-sharing.

On December 4, SOHR activists reported that a gang tried to kidnap a girl from the widows Camp in Kafra village in Azaz countryside in the northern Aleppo countryside.

According to sources, the gang comprised two girls and a young man who escaped after failing to kidnap the girl, where she started yelling forcing the gang to let her and flee.

This came as a part of the ongoing security chaos, including drug dealing and trafficking in areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions which exploited their power in practicing such illegal activities.

On the other hand, Turkish Jandarma arrested a smuggler from Azaz city yesterday, after exchange of fire between both sides. This came after the smuggler tried to help Syrian civilians to sneak into Turkey through Turkish-Syrian borders near Azaz city.
