Suspected of carrying explosive devices | Members of Russian patrol kill civilian and desecrate his body in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR sources have reported that members of a Russian patrol opened fire on a young man from Subaykhan town in eastern Deir Ezzor, while approaching the patrol near Qebaa mosque in Al-Jawzah neighbourhood in west Deir Ezzor city, which caused his death. According to the sources, the members of the Russian patrol thought that the man, who was wearing a cloak, was wearing an explosive belt.

According to local sources, the Russians took the man’s body after they had desecrated and passed over it with their vehicles.

On December 7, SOHR sources reported graffiti against Russian and regime forces left by unknown individuals on walls near Al-Salihiyah crossing in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, in SDF-held areas.
