Renewed bombardment | Turkish forces shell positions in eastern Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported Turkish artillery fire on Tukhar Saghir village in the north of Manij city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

This bombardment comes as a part of ongoing attacks by Turkish forces and their proxies on areas under the control of Kurdish forces, Afrin Liberation Front, other military councils operating under the banner of SDF and regime forces.

 

On December 8, SOHR sources reported that two Turkish soldiers sustained light wounds after a mortar of unknown origin hit Al-Azraq base nearby Al-Bab city in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

While on December 6, SOHR sources reported that Kurdish and regime forces stationed in Aleppo countryside fired several mortars on the outskirts of Al-Oushily village in Qabasin countryside which is under the control of Turkish-backed factions in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo. This bombardment coincided with clashes, with medium weapons, between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on Harbal frontline in northern Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.
