SDF-controlled areas | ISIS cells draw pro-group and anti-US and Russia graffiti in north Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported seeing pro-ISIS graffiti that are expected to be drawn by the group cells on some walls and commercial shops in Al-Ezbah town under control of the SDF in north Deir Ezzor.

The graffiti read “Down Russia, Down the United States, revenge is imminent for crescent worshippers, Islamic State exists.”

This comes in light of the growing activities of the ISIS cells in areas under control of the SDF in Deir Ezzor countryside.

On Dec. 6, SOHR activists reported that gunmen riding motorcycles stormed the building of the People’s Assembly and the Women’s Council in Al- Basira city which is under the control of SDF in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, breaking down office furniture and threatened to kill the employees if they returned to their work.
