Al-Hasahah countryside | Al-Asayish forces arrest smugglers heading to Turkey

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that the Internal Security Forces (Al-Asayish) have arrested a number of human traffickers heading to Turkey from Al-Derbasiyah neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah countryside. The security forces raided their houses in villages and towns of Qourmanyah, Seherik, Baba Mahmous and Al-Derbasiyah with unknown reasons.

It is worth noting that people working in trafficking humans into the Turkish lands pay to the SDF-controlled taxes authority while taking sums ranged between 1,500 to 2,000 US dollars per each person. Beside humans, the smugglers also work in trading weapons secretly.
