Afrin | Tension grows between Al-Amshat and factions of “Azm” operations room over Al-Amashat refusal of handing over wanted militiamen

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that tension between Sultan Suleiman Shah Al-Ashmat division and factions of “Azm” operations room grows in Sheikh Al-Hadid neighborhood in Afrin countryside after Al-Ashmat faction has refused to hand over dozens of wanted members of their faction, who are wanted for charges of robbing and looting the livelihoods of the people and other issues.

According to Syrian Observatory activists, “Azm factions have mobilized their forces across Afrin and brought military reinforcements to the vicinity of Sheikh Al-Hadid district, so Al- Amshat faction has also mobilized its forces and deployed checkpoints there.

It is worth noting that “Azm” operations room is comprised “The Sham Legion – north sector,” “Peace Brigade,””2nd Division, which formed of “Elite Army,” ” 113th Brigade ′,” and “Glory Corps,”, “Division- 13” which consists of “Sultan Mohammed the Conqueror Division,” “Samarkand brigade, “Al- Waqas Brigade” and other factions ” belonging to Turkish- backed “National Army.”
