Al-Qamishly | Pro-regime individuals block US patrol, forcing it to take another way

Al-Hasaka Province: SOHR activists have reported that a US patrol of five armoured vehicles was blocked by the pro-regime residents of Al-Matineya village in south-east Al-Qamishly countryside and pelted the US vehicles with stones, forcing the patrol to change its way to Al-Qamishli city.

On November 23, SOHR activists reported that members of a regime checkpoint blocked an American convoy in Akoula village southern of Al-Qamishly city, and prevented it from passing towards Al-Qamishly city.

This coincided with flights by American aircraft over the region to support the ground forces.

While, on November 22, children tried to prevent a US patrol from passing in Hamo village eastern of Al-Qamishly, and pelted the American vehicles with stones.

Also, on November 11, SOHR activists reported that a checkpoint member of the regime-held National Defense forces intercepted US reinforcement that included four vehicles on Tal Brak Road in south Al-Qamishly countryside. The checkpoint prevented the US forces from heading to Al-Qamishly city that returned back without conflicts between both sides.
