Mysterious crime | “Collaborator” with US forces found dead in Al-Hasakah

SOHR activists have reported that the man known by his initials as A. S. from Al-Shuhayl town in Deir Ezzor countryside was killed in unknown circumstances, while he was hiding in Al-Hasakah city from relatives of a young men killed in airstrike by US forces in Al-Raqqah countryside in “Peace Spring” areas on October 25.

According to a video tape and audio records, which SOHR obtained copies of, A. S. was accused of being in contact with US forces stationed in Al-Omar oil field and the cell responsible for monitoring wanted suspects in areas held by Turkish-backed factions.

This comes in light of the escalating ISIS operations and growing security chaos in SDF-held areas.

As more fatalities are recorded and updated regularly, the number of people who were killed in areas within the four provinces of Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah, in addition to the SDF-held area of Manbij in the north-east of Aleppo rose to 837 fighters, civilians, oil workers, and officials in service parties.

The Syrian Observatory documented the assassination of 316 civilians including 20 children and 20 women by armed cells in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, al-Hasakah countryside, al-Raqqah city and countryside, and Manbij area. In addition, 516 SDF fighters, including local leaders, were assassinated in the same areas.
Also, four members of International Coalition were killed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Human also documented hundreds of injuries due to these assassinations.
