New joint patrol | Russian and Turkish forces tour villages in northern Al-Hasakah

SOHR sources have reported seeing Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol in the northern countryside of Al-Hasakah this morning. Four Russian military vehicles and four other Turkish, escorted by two Russian helicopters, set off from Sherek village in the western countryside of Al-Darbasiyyah and toured the towns and villages of Dalik, Qunaytara, Al-Qarmaniyah, Tel Kadish, Karbatli, in the western and southern countryside of Al-Darbasiyyah, Jadidah, Tel Tairi, Tel Karma, Khasiki, Madura, Khanki and Abu Jaradi in the eastern countryside of Al-Darbasiyyah on the road between Al-Darbasiyyah and Amuda, before returning the starting point.

 

On December 13, Observatory sources reported seeing Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol in the north-east Syria region. Four Russian military vehicles and four other Turkish set off from Ghareeb village in the eastern countryside of Kobani and toured the villages of Karbanav, Kusak, Alishar, Joum Ali, Kurtek, Kubek Satan, Teri, Tel Hajib, Qabajiq Saghir, Bozatbah and Jayshan, before it returned to the starting point. The patrol, which was escorted by two Russian helicopters, was the 82nd joint patrol in the region since a ceasefire agreement was reached in north-east Syria region between the Russians and the Turks.
