Landmine explosions | Young man killed in Al-Raqqah countryside and others injured in Sallamiyyah countryside

SOHR activists have documented the death of a civilian due to the explosion of an old landmine in his tractor near Al-Muwayleh village in Al-Jarniyah district in the western countryside of Al-Raqqah.

 

On the other hand, an old landmine exploded in Al-Hanitah in Al-Saan countryside in Sallamiyyah area in Hama countryside, which injured several civilians who were taken to the hospital in Sallamiyyah city.

 

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of 643 people, including 82 women and 236 children, by mines and IED explosions and the collapse of cracked residential buildings in several areas of the Syrian territory in Homs, Hama, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and the Syrian South since early January 2019.
