Deir Ezzor desert | ISIS attacks ‘Al-Qatarji and National defense posts in Al-Kharatah oil field

Deir Ezzor province: ISIS cells attacked posts of “Al-Qatarji” and National defense” militias in the vicinity of Al-Kharata oil field in the southwestern Deir Ezzor desert on Sunday evening.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, ISIS attack has left 12 wounded members of “Al-Qatarji and National Defense” militias. Members of “Al-Qatarji and National Defense” militias had withdrawn after regime forces’ support arrived and warplanes intervened.

 

 

On December 2, SOHR sources reported that ISIS cells had conducted a violent attack on positions and posts of the regime-held NDF stationed on al-Madhoul road in al-Masrab town in west Deir Ezzor near an area where a bus carrying employees and workers in Al-Kharatah oil field was exploded by IED causing the death of ten persons.
