Attempting to cross into Turkey | Civilian shot dead by Turkish Jandarma in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a man from Ma’bada town in the northern countryside of Al-Hasakah, near the Syria-Turkey border, after being shot by the Turkish Border Guard Forces (Jandarma), while he was attempting to sneak into Turkey with the help of smugglers.

 

According to Syrian Observatory statistics, the number of Syrian civilians who have been killed by the Turkish Jandarma since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution, has risen to 497 including 90 children under the age of eighteen and 45 females over the age of eighteen.
