On this morning, Russian fighter jets have carried out 13 airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in Al-Tabani deserts in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor and Al-Rusafa, northeast of Al-Raqqa, for the second consecutive day, bringing the number of Russian airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in the last 24 hours, to 25 airstrikes

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that new military reinforcements of the regime forces arrived in Deir Ezzor and Al-Raqqa deserts, as part of preparations by the regime forces, accompanied by militants loyal to them, to launch a new campaign against ISIS cells.

Regime campaign was scheduled to begin its attack from two areas, the first from south and west of Al-Raqqa set off from Al-Rusafah desert to Maskanah district in the countryside of Aleppo, and the second area from Al-Bashari mountains towards the western region of Deir Ezzor.

It is worth noting that these campaigns were postponed several times due to pre-emptive attacks and attacks on rearguard by ISIS cells, whose activity has risen recently.
