Ongoing clashes and bombardment | Two women injured in Turkish bombardment on residential neighbourhoods in Al-Hasakah countryside

Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that a woman sustained injuries, after artillery shells fired by Turkish forces hit the centre of Abu Raseen town (Zarkan). Also, a woman was injured in a similar bombardment on Tel Al-Ward village in Abu Raseen countryside in Al-Hasakah countryside.

 

It is worth noting that the town and surrounding villages is under heavy bombardment by Turkish forces, amid response by SDF and regime forces stationed in that region. In addition, sporadic clashes with medium weapons erupted between Turkish-backed factions and SDF on frontlines of Ras Al-Ain and Tel Tamr in Al-Hasakah countryside.

 

Meanwhile, Turkish forces renewed their attacks with heavy and medium weapons Abu Raseen town and countryside this evening, targeting positions in Abu Raseen hill, Harmala Dada Abdal, Al-Rebay’at, Azzoz farm, Khadrawi, Matmourah, Boby and Nuwayhat.

 

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported sporadic clashes between SDF on one hand, and Turkish forces and their proxy factions on the other, on frontlines of Umm Al-Kif village in the countryside of Tel Tamr, north of Al-Hasakah.

 

SOHR activists documented the death of a man succumbed to his injuries in Al-Qamishly hospitals due to Turkish bombardment on Zarkan town in the north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah yesterday evening, bringing death toll to four civilians, including a girl and a woman, according to SOHR activists.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources had reported the death of three people due to the Turkish bombardment on Al-Hasakah countryside.

 

Moreover, A woman and her little daughter were killed, and three other children were injured in Rabea’at in the southern countryside of Abu Raseen (Zarkan), while a man was killed in Asadyea village.

Meanwhile, six others were injured in different areas in Abu Raseen and Tal Tamer, some seriously, where they were taken to Al-Qamishly hospitals.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of three members of the Turkish-backed “National Army”, after bombardment by SDF on their position near Turkish posts in “Peace Spring” areas in Al-Hasakah countryside.

 

SOHR activists reported SOHR activists have reported that Turkish-backed factions have shelled Umm Al-Kif village in the countryside of Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah.

Moreover, violent clashes between SDF and factions have broken out coinciding with intensive rocket attacks by Turkish forces on SDF positions.

SOHR activists reported a wave of displacements amid bad weather conditions from Abu Raseen (Zarkan) town to safer areas in the eastern countryside of the town due to violent rocket and artillery fire by the Turkish forces.
