Civilian killed in attack by Turkish-backed factions on village in rural Manbij

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that a civilian died of wounds he sustained in gunfire by Turkish-backed factions on Al-Mafareed farm to the north-west of Manbij city in Aleppo.

 

On December 16, SOHR sources reported clashes, with heavy and medium weapons, between Turkish-backed factions and the Kurdish forces on the frontlines of Al-Oushily and Al-Boughaz in the eastern countryside of Al-Bab in Aleppo countryside. However, no casualties were reported.

 

This bombardment came as a part of ongoing attacks by Turkish forces and their proxies on areas under the control of Kurdish forces, Afrin Liberation Front and other military councils operating under the banner of SDF and regime forces.

 

On December 9, SOHR sources reported the Turkish artillery fired on Tukhar Saghir village in the north of Manij city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

While on December 8, SOHR sources reported that two Turkish soldiers sustained light wounds after a mortar of unknown origin hit Al-Azraq base nearby Al-Bab city in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.
