Ongoing violations | Factions sell properties of displaced people and levy shepherds in Afrin

Aleppo province: Al-Sham Corps, which is close to Turkish intelligence, have imposed levies on shepherds in Brad village in Shirawa district, to allow them to herd sheep in the village plains. The levies valuated at 5000 Syrian lire a month per sheep.

Turkish-backed factions in Afrin continue their violations against the civilians and their properties by imposing levies on civilians and illegally selling their homes.

Moreover, Al-Jabha Al-Shamyah members have sold a house in Ashrafieh neighborhood for 1,500 US dollars, where the house belonged to a civilian from Rajo district, in addition to selling four shops on Aleppo- Afrin road for 1,400 US dollars for each. the shops have been sold to displaced persons from Hama.

A displaced person also illegally sold a house in Ashrafieh neighbourhood in Afrin city for 700 US dollars to displaced people from Eastern Ghouta. The house was originally owned by a civilian from Bulbul district.
