Al-Hasakah | Regime soldiers block US vehicles

Al-Hasakah province: Regime soldiers, at a checkpoint in Shuwaish farm in the countryside of Tel Tamr village in the northwestern countryside of Al-Hasakah province, have intercepted a convoy of four armoured vehicles, forcing US convoy to drive down another route.

According to SOHR activists, this is the seventh time for US patrols to be blocked in that region in December.

On December 20, in a scene that had been repeated almost daily since early December, SOHR activists reported that a regime checkpoint intercepted a US patrol in Tel Al-Dhahab village in southern Al-Qamishli countryside.

This incident has coincided with the interception of five US military vehicles that attempted to cross Mansaf Tahtani village in Tel Tamr countryside, northwest of Al-Hasakah by another regime checkpoint. However, no quarrels between the regime and the United States forces have erupted.

On December 18, SOHR activists reported that regime-backed National Defense Forces with the participation of some regime loyalists have prevented a US patrol from passing through Mansaf Tahtani village in Tel Tamr countryside, northwest of Hasakah.
