To collect ransom | Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah arrests civilian for third time in Afrin

 

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that a military patrol of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah has arrested a civilian from Ma’batly district and took him to their security headquarters on charges of “dealing with the former Autonomous Administration”.

Al-Jabha faction had arrested the same civilian twice before, last time was on December 25, 2020, where he was released after paying ransom.

On December 26, members of Turkish intelligence patrol arrested a woman and her father who are residents from Dudiya village in Raju district in Afrin countryside, and they were taken to an unknown destination over charges of dealing with “Autonomous Administration.”

Meanwhile, Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah faction arrested a civilian from Maaraskah village in Sharan district last week. However, the charge against him remained unknown.

On December 23, SOHR activists reported that a joint patrol comprising members of military police and Turkish intelligence raided Ma’ratah village in Afrin countryside and arrested four residents over charges of dealing with the Autonomous Administration.
