Al-Suwaydaa desert | Russian and regime forces start joint military drills and manoeuvres 

Al-Suwaydaa province: Reliable sources have told SOHR that Russian and regime forces have launched joint military drills and manoeuvres in Al-Suwaydaa desert.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, Russian forces arrived in Shinwan village in the northeastern countryside of Al-Suwayaa at the beginning of this week.

Russian forces have started to conduct live-fire exercises with the 15th Division two days ago.

These joint exercises have coincided with a daily flying of Russian fighter jets over that area.

During the joint manoeuvres and military drills with regime forces, Russian forces have fired drones

On December 27, US forces and “Maghaweer Al-Thawrah” carried out joint live fire exercises at Al-Tanaf base on Syria’s eastern border with Jordan and Iraq.
