Al-Hasakah Province: SOHR activists have reported that a convoy of 50 trucks of the International Coalition carrying cement blocks and logistical supplies arrived in north-eastern Syria crossed Al-Qamishli from Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The convoy headed to the military bases in Al-Hasakah countryside.
It is worth noting that it is the seventh convoy to enter north-east Syria in December.
On December 22, SOHR sources reported seeing a convoy of over 35 trucks of the International Coalition crossing into Syria from Kurdistan Region of Iraq, via Al-Walid border crossing.
The trucks headed to US bases in Al-Rumaylan and Al-Hasakah controlled by the Autonomous Administration in north and east Syria.
While on December 16, SOHR sources reported seeing a new convoy of the International Coalition crossing into north-east Syria region from Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The convoy, which comprised 20 trucks carrying military and logistical supplies, headed to the Coalition bases in Al-Hasakah countryside. It is worth noting that this is the fifth batch of its kind to enter north-east Syria in December.
Also, on December 14, SOHR activists reported that an International Coalition convoy entered areas in north-eastern of Syria through Al-Walid border crossing with Kurdistan region, and headed towards the military bases in Al-Malekiyah (Direk) city in Al-Hasakah countryside. The convoy comprised 15 vehicles carrying logistic and military materials. SOHR sources added that a meeting took place between the International Coalition and SDF in Al-Malekiyah base, coinciding with entry of the military convoy.
