Vandalism | Unknown individuals set fire to oil well in rural Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that a fire broke out in Al-Da’as oil well in the desert of the SDF-controlled village of Al-Hariji in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor. According to SOHR sources, unknown individuals sat fire to a part of the well, before they escaped. The attack caused material damage.

 

On November 19, SOHR sources reported that unknown gunmen attacked “Al-Faysal” oil well in the north of Al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the morning. The attackers sat fire to the well, which is located in SDF-held areas, before they escaped. No casualties was reported.

 

This attack coincided with the prevalence of ISIS cells in SDF-controlled areas and regime-held areas throughout the desert.
