Old ordnance | Child killed and two injured in explosion in north Homs countryside

Homs province: SOHR activists have documented the death of a child and the injury of two others in an explosion of an unexploded phosphorous bomb while they were playing with in Zafarana village in the northern countryside of Homs.

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of 659 people, including 95women and 239 children, by mines and IED explosions and the collapse of cracked residential buildings in several areas of the Syrian territory since early January 2019.

Among the total death toll, there are 112 persons, including 47 women and 19 children, who were killed during their search and collection of the truffle which grows in the areas that are subjected to heavy rain, and it is sold at very high prices.
