Renewed bombardment | Russian jets hit border area with Iskenderun, north of Idlib

Idlib province: Syrian Observatory activists have monitored renewed airstrikes by Russian fighter jets on the “de-escalation zone, targeting with two new airstrikes the vicinity of Kfardaryan border area with Iskenderun region in the north of Idlib. No casualties have been reported yet.

SOHR activists have just reported that Russian fighter jets executed two airstrikes on the outskirts of Kansafra and Al-Bara in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. However, no casualties were reported.

This bombardment coincided with flights by several Russian fighter jets over the “de-escalation zone.

Yesterday, SOHR activists monitored 12 airstrikes carried out by Russian fighter jets on “Putin-Erdogan” area, targeting Al-Sheikh Bahr area on the outskirts of the northern city of Idlib.

These airstrikes also bombed the vicinity of the areas of “Barisha, Kafr Arouk, Maarat Masrin, Darat Azza, Sheikh Bahr” in the western countryside of Aleppo, and northern Idlib.
