Intensive bombardment | Turkish forces target public facilities in Abu Raseen town in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have documented the death of a civilian due to bombardment by Turkish forces a few hours ago on the centre of Abu Raseen district “Zarkan” in north-western Al-Hasakah. The civilian was taken to a hospital in Al-Darbasiyah city, amid unconfirmed reports of other injured people.

It is worth noting that Turkish heavy artillery targeted public facilities and the headquarters of the district’s Municipality, which caused material damage.

SOHR sources have just reported intensive rocket fire by Turkish forces on the centre of Abu Raseen district “Zarkan” and the villages of Al-Khadrawi and Assadiya in Abu Raseen countryside in north-western Al-Hasakah. The Turkish bombardment coincided with a new civilian exodus due to the intensive bombardment.

On December 30, SOHR activists documented the death of three civilians: a woman, her son and her sister in Al-Assadiyah village due to intensive rocket and artillery fire by Turkish forces on the centre of Abu Raseen district and surrounding villages, as well as positions in Tel Tamr countryside in the north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah.
