Fourth day of growing escalation in Putin-Erdoghan area | Three Russia fighter jets target Hama

mid the continuous Russian escalation in the de-escalation area in the first days of 2022, reliable SOHR sources have monitored three raids by Russian fighter jets, in the early hours of Monday, which targeted the vicinity of Al-Ankawy village in Sahl Al-Ghab in west Hama. But no casualties have been reported yet. The airstrikes, conducted for the fourth consecutive day, were supported by Russian reconnaissance aircrafts flying over the Putin-Erdoghan area.

Yesterday, SOHR reliable sources said that Russian fighter jets carried out nearly ten airstrikes targeting the vicinity of several areas, including Al-Sheikh Yusuf village in western Idlib countryside, the central prison near Idlib city and Sejer water station, which feeds Idlib city and its western villages, leaving the station out of service as pipes were damaged.

The Russian airstrikes also hit the eastern outskirts of Al-Arbaeen Mountain and Harsh Masebeen in the vicinity of Ariha city near M4 “Aleppo-Lattakia” International Highway.

On January 1, SOHR activists documented the death of a woman and two children in airstrikes carried out by Russian fighter jets hitting makeshift tents of displaced people in Al-Nahr Al-Abyad area in the countryside of north Jisr Al-Shughur city, in west Idlib.

On the other hand, Russian fighter jets also bombed more than 12 areas in the vicinity of Idlib city and Jabal Al-Zawiyah south of Idlib.

“Al-Fath Al-Mubin” faction has counterattacked Russian airstrikes by intensive rocket fire on the regime’s positions in Jorin area in Hama countryside and the vicinity of Maarat Al-Numan in south Idlib countryside.
