Inside vegetables truck | Afghan Fatimyoun militia transfers weapons to Al-Raqqah desert

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that Afghan “Liwaa Fatimyoun” militia, stationed in Al-Mazara region in Al-Mayadeen desert in east Deir Ezzor countryside, have loaded, on Monday night, a vegetables and fruits truck with weapons and ammunition that were stored in tunnels network in the area. The truck took Deir Ezzor-Al-Raqqah road.

According to SOHR sources, the truck arrived in Ma’dan region that is under control of the regime forces and Iran-backed factions, especially in the posts of Fatimyoun factions as a kind of boosting the military reinforcement for the Afghan militia in the region.

It is worth noting that Al-Mazara region is the largest gathering spot for Iranian-backed factions in the western areas of Euphrates.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Iranian-backed militias held a celebration commemorating the second anniversary of the death of the former IRGC-Quds Force commander “Qassem Soleimani” in the security zone in Al-Temu neighbourhood in Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in west Euphrates region, the Iranian “autonomous colony” in Syria.

The celebrations were attended by the militias’ commanders, chiefs of security branches in the area, members of the Qatari leadership of Al-Baath Party and the head of the city’s municipality, where several tents were set up and a large poster of Soleimani was fixed. During the celebration, speeches were given glorifying Qassem Soleimani’s role and efforts in defeating terrorism in Syria, as his affiliates described.

On the other hand, the Iranian-backed militias of the 47th Division in Al-Bokamal in eastern Deir Ezzor also commemorated the anniversary of Soleimani’s by lighting candles in the main road to Al-Qa’em crossing on the Syria-Iraq border.
