Arrests of returnees from abroad | Regime forces arrest Palestinian coming from Europe to visit his family in Damascus

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that Syrian regime security services has arrested a young man holding the Palestinian nationality two month ago.

The young man was arrested in Damascus International Airport while coming back from a European country to visit his family in Khan Younis Camp in Damascus countryside though he holds a Palestinian nationality. According to his relatives, the arrested young man is detained in “branch 235” known as “Palestinian branch” which is one of regime forces-run prisons.

We, in SOHR, intensify the importance of holding accountable the perpetrators of torturing and murdering Syrian civilians in regime prions and warn against indifference of the conflicting sides in Syrian concerning the issue of arrested and the forcibly disappeared people, and call on the international community to take an immediate action to reveal the fate of the arrested people and to expose the violations of the involved parties.
