Rocket fire | Turkish forces shell positions in Ain Al-Arab city and countryside (Kobani)

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that rockets fired from Turkish territory near the border with Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) hit several positions in Ain Al-Arab city and the villages of Kobralak, Jurn, Kaltab and Qarmough to the east of the city. The rocket attacks caused material damage to civilian properties, but no casualties have been reported so far.

SOHR sources reported hearing an explosion in the early morning, caused by blowing up a part of the border wall between Syria and Turkey near the villages of Aghbish and Kaltab in Kobani countryside.

On December 25, SOHR activists documented the death of six members of “Al-Shabiba Al-Thawriyah” (the Revolutionary Youth), including two commanders, and injury of three others in an attack by a Turkish drone on headquarters of “Al-Shabiba Al-Thawriyah” in Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo.
