Military escalating in “Putin-Erdogan” area | Factions shell regime positions in Idlib countryside

SOHR activists have reported that regime forces renewed ground shelling on villages in Idlib countryside in “Putin-Erdogan” area, targeting  Al-Bara, Kafr Uowayd, Al-Fatirah and Safuhan in Jabal Al-Zawiya, south of Idlib.

On the other hand, opposition factions fired artillery shells on positions of regime forces in the countryside of Saraqib, Maarrat Al-Numa’an, and Dadikh frontlines in Idlib countryside. However, no casualties have been reported  so far.

Earlier Sunday morning, SOHR sources reported rocket fire by regime forces, targeting positions in Fulayfel, Bayanin and Al-Fterah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. Regime forces also attacked with heavy machineguns frontlines with the factions in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.

Meanwhile, an exchange of fire took place between regime forces and opposition factions on several frontlines in south Idlib.
