Ongoing security chaos in “Euphrates Shield” areas | Unidentified gunmen kidnap civilian and woman, north of Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that unidentified gunmen in a civilian car kidnapped a woman yesterday in Tashtan town In Jarabulus city.

In this context, SOHR sources have reported that unidentified gunmen kidnapped a young man from Hayan in northern Aleppo countryside. It is worth noting that the young man works in the local council in Ehtymlat town in Azaz countryside. However, the reasons for kidnapping the young man remained unknown.

This comes in light of ongoing security chaos in “Euphrates Shield” areas which are controlled by Turkish-backed factions.

On December 26, SOHR activists  reported that unidentified gunmen driving a Santa Fe car kidnapped a child in front of his house near school, in the centre of Al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, and took him to an unknown destination.

On December 18, SOHR reported that four masked gunmen driving a Santa Fe car kidnapped a civilian in Ekhterin village in A’zaz country side northern of Aleppo, and took him to an unknown destination.
