First attack in Turkish proxies-held areas in 2022 | Military head killed and others injured north of Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported an IED blast in a car in Al-Asaynah neighborhood in Ezaz city, which is under the influence of Ankara-backed factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo, killing one military person and wounding others, this morning.

It is worth noting that this is the first explosion that occurred in Turkish forces and their factions-controlled areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo in 2022.

In 2021, “Euphrates Shield” areas and their surroundings experienced 47 explosions. According to SOHR activists, these explosions were caused by detonating IEDs and explosion of landmines and booby-trapped vehicles. These explosions left 32 people dead: 21 civilians, including six children and three women, and 11 Turkish-backed factions, while nearly 114 others sustained various injuries.
