RPG shells | Clashes renew between Bedouin tribes in Al-Suwaydaa countryside

Al-Suwaydaa province: SOHR activists have reported that gunmen have fired an “RPG” shell on a house in the Bedouin neighbourhood western of the road in Shahba city in Al-Suwaydaa countryside, coinciding with heavy shooting in the area, however no casualties have been reported yet.

This comes after end of the period given to handle some people involved in killing a Bedouin civilian on January 6.

On January 6, SOHR activists reported that a young man from the Bedouin tribe was killed in the countryside of Al-Suwaydaa, due to clashes in Shahba city between two Bedouin tribes’ families in the western neighbourhoods, without knowing reasons behind the clashes.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that a new crime occurred in regime-controlled areas when a civilian was killed in Al-Suwaydaa province.

The residents found the body of a civilian with shot wounds on a road linking the villages of Irimah, Harran and Labine, north-west of Al-Suwaydaa.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the victim was a distributor who gives out and sells goods by his car.
