Increasing crimes in regime-controlled areas | Two women killed in separate attacks in Tartus

Tartus province: Reliable sources have told SOHR that a 52-year-old woman from Duwayr Al-Sheikh Saad in Tartus was found dead with marks of stabbing with a sharp tool.

 

On the other hand, a woman was found dead near Al-Karnak complex in Shate’ Al-Ahlam area (the Dream Shore) in Tartus, where a packet of insecticide was found behind the woman’s body. According to SOHR sources, the two bodies were taken to a hospital in Tartus in order to start investigations.

 

On January 7, a man known by his initials as H. K. was killed in Al-Sheikh Badr region in Tartous province with an axe. According to SOHR sources, six people: his wife, daughters, son and his brother-in-law were arrested on remand, after being accused of “getting rid of the man to take over his properties.” According to the victim’s neighbours, he was continuously beaten by his wife and sons.
