Aleppo | Chairman of “Military Police” service in Azaz died of his wounds

Aleppo province: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that chairman of the Turkey-controlled “Military Police” service died of severe wounds he sustained yesterday in an explosion of a military vehicle in Azaz in north Aleppo.

Yesterday, SOHR activists monitored a loud explosion in Afrin city which is controlled by Turkish-backed factions, when a suicidal jihadist bombed himself near Turkish military bases in Qawa square in the city, leaving casualties.

Earlier, SOHR activists reported hearing loud explosions in Al-Bab city controlled by Turkish-backed factions in the eastern Aleppo countryside, due to the explosion of booby-trapped motorbike in front of garages in Al-Bab city, killing the driver of the motorbike and injuring several others who were near the explosion site.

SOHR activists reported an IED blast in a car in Al-Asaynah neighbourhood in Azaz city, which is under the influence of Ankara-backed factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo, killing one military person and wounding others.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, a car bomb attack hit provost marshal general, the head of the disciplinary force of the military police.
