Aleppo | Ankara-backed factions and military formations in Manbij trade fire
Aleppo province: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that attacks with medium and heavy weapons have renewed, on Saturday morning, on the frontline of Al-Sajour in north Manbij village in northeast Aleppo countryside, between Ankara-backed factions and the military formations in the region. However, no casualties have been reported yet.
On January 7, SOHR sources reported exchange of attack with medium and heavy weapons between the SDF-backed “Jabhat Al-Akrad” forces and factions loyal to the Turkish government on Al-Mahsanly frontlines in Manbij city countryside in northeast Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.
On December 29, SOHR sources reported renewing clashes between the SDF-affiliated Manbij Military Council and the Turkish-held factions in “Euphrates Shield” areas on the frontline of Al-Farat, Arab Hassan neighbourhood in Manbij countryside in east Aleppo.
