Rocket attack | Regime forces fire rocket on Turkish base, leaving casualties

 

SOHR sources have reported that regime forces have fired a rocket at the Turkish base in Kansafra town in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib. Turkish soldiers at the base have been reportedly injured.

SOHR sources in Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham and factions-controlled areas in Idlib province have monitored seeing Turkish forces are on high alert on the frontlines of Saraqib city in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

Since the early hours of this morning, there has been an intensive movement of soldiers, tanks, and military vehicles. The reasons for this high alert are unknown so far.

 

Yesterday, Reliable sources informed SOHR that Turkish forces enlarged their military post in Afes town in Idlib countryside nearby Damascus-Aleppo highway “M5” and taken over the eastern neighbourhood in the town.

According to the sources, the Turkish forces brought in military reinforcement of tanks and heavy weapons, as well as increasing the number of soldiers stationed there to 75.

The Turks also provided the region with Turkish communications and installed bugs and surveillance devices.
