Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) | People block Turkish-Russian joint patrol

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that residents of villages and towns in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) city have blocked a Turkish-Russian joint patrol, two days after a Turkish drone bombarded a house in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani), killing six people including two prominent leaders of “Al-Shabibah Al-Thawriyah”.

According to SOHR sources, the residents have pelted the Russian and the Turkish vehicles with stones near Ain Al-Bat and Karmough villages in east Kobani, expressing their rejection of the patrol’s work.

On the other hand, the joint patrol, comprising eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles and escorted by two Russian helicopters, has headed from Ghareeb village in east Kobani and toured villages in the city countryside.
It is worth noting that this is the 84th Russian-Turkish joint patrol in the region since the Russian Turkish deal was reached over a ceasefire in northeast Syria.
