Unknown Circumstances | Body of Iranian-backed militiaman found near Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that the body of a fighter affiliated to Iran-Backed local faction “Liwaa Qamar Ibn Hisham”. He was killed in unknown circumstances near sewage department in Hatlah town near Deir Ezzor city, with marks of strangulation with rope around his neck.

On December 18, SOHR sources reported that a military vehicle commuting Iran-backed militiamen was targeted by unknown guided missile in the vicinity of Faydah Ibin Mowaina in east Deir Ezzor countryside leaving four non-Syrians dead.

It was the first guided missile attack since the spread of Iranian-backed factions in the region.
