Daily death toll | Four killed yesterday across Syria

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that four people died in different circumstances in several Syrian areas yesterday. The deaths are distributed as follow:

• A five-month baby was killed by his stepmother because of his crying. The woman took advantage of the father’s absence, and suffocated the baby before his uncle transferred him to Al- Suwaidda hospital on January 5.

• A member of Al-Sulltan Suleiman Shah faction “Al-Amshaat”, led by “Abu Amsha”, due to the explosion of an RPG shell during transportation and distribution of weapons to the faction’s members in Al-Shaikh Hadeed region in Afrin countryside.

• An ISIS commander in Hawy Al-Hawayej region in Hartha in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside during an SDF security operation backed by International Coalition aircraft which executed an airdrop on January 17.
• The body of a fighter affiliated to Iran-Backed local faction “Liwaa Qamar Ibn Hisham” was killed in unknown circumstances near sewage department in Hatlah town near Deir Ezzor city, with marks of strangulation with rope around his neck.
