Amid new riot by ISIS prisoners | International Coalition jets fly over “Ghuwayran ” prison

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that International Coalition jets flew over the region of  Ghuwayran prison in Al-Hasakah, following a new riot by ISIS prisoners.

On the same context, several members of Internal Security Force “Asayish” and military forces of SDF were injured in an explosion, believed to be caused by detonating of a booby-trapped car near “ Ghuwayran” prison.

Moreover, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a military vehicle, while it was heading to the prison to support the Internal Security Forces.

SOHR activists have just reported hearing loud explosion in Ghuwayran neighbourhood of Al-Hasakah city, along with rising tension among Internal Security Forces and SDF military forces.

According to sources, the explosion took place near “Al-Sina’a prison” which hosts ISIS prisoners, where the military forces cordoned off the prison, while no further information was reported.

On December 19, an explosion was heard in Al-Hasakah city as a booby-trapped motorcycle exploded while the passing of a “van” vehicle carrying SDF members through Al-Jweran neighborhood, injuring SDF member and another person who was at the site of the explosion.
