Refusing to pay fine | Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah assaults local activist in Afrin

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that members of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah faction have severely beaten a member of the “Free Media Union” in the northern Aleppo countryside, while he was covering the bombardment on Afrin city yesterday. The activist was attacked near Nairouz square in Afrin city centre for refusing to pay a fine to Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyah.

Yesterday, reliable sources informed SOHR that the deaths of the ground attack in Afrin city on Thursday night, raised to eight people, including five children, all of them were killed by rockets fired from areas where regime and Kurdish forces are deployed in north Aleppo.
The number of deaths is expected to rise because 30 people sustained wounds, some are in critical conditions.
It is worth noting that this is the first massacre across Syria since the beginning of 2022.
