Daraa chaos | Regime shelling on residential neighbourhoods injuries civilians

 

Daraa province: SOHR activists have documented the injury of a woman and her two children, due to shelling by regime forces on the residential neighbourhoods in Al-Hirak city in Daraa countryside, causing material damages of civilians’ properties.

SOHR activists have reported clashes with machineguns this evening, between unidentified gunmen and regime forces in the vicinity of 52th Brigade Mika and on the military checkpoint in Al-Maliha Al-Gharbiyah eastern of Daraa.

On the same context, regime forces fired artillery shells on Al-Hirak city and Al-Maliha Al-Gharbiyah town and nearby plains.

On January 19, SOHR sources reported that 12 regime soldiers were injured in an IED explosion in a regime military bus near Sayda Bridge on Damascus-Daraa highway.

It is worth noting that the bus was carrying soldier serving in the costumes house in Naseeb on the Syria-Jordan border.

On January 18, SOHR activists documented the death of two regime soldiers in an attack by unidentified gunmen on a joint checkpoint, where members of the 52nd Brigade and Air Force Intelligence were stationed, in the center of Al-Maliha Al-Gharbiyah at the junction of Rakhm village in the eastern Daraa countryside. The assailants managed to escape.
