Al-Raqqa | Turkish forces renew attacks on Ain Issa, wounding four civilians

Al-Raqqa province: SOHR sources have reported that the Turkish forces have carried out intensive rocket attack, in the early hours of Sunday, on the vicinity of Ain Issa district in north Al-Raqqa. The rockets hit Olaymat village in the western countryside of Al-Raqqa, leaving four civilians wounded, two of whom have sustained severe injuries.

Yesterday, SOHR sources documented the death of five civilians and the injury of four others in bombardment by the Turkish forces and loyal factions on Hdayrat village in the east of Ain Issa district in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqa.

The Turkish attack coincided with an exchange of rocket fire between Syria Democratic Forces (SDF) on one hand, and Turkish forces and their proxy factions on the other nearby Latakia-Aleppo international highway “M4” in the eastern part of Ain Issa district, amid ongoing clashes between the two sides on the frontlines of Al-Mshayrifah and Jahbal villages, as Turkish rocket and artillery fire paved the way for the Turkish-backed factions to advance into that region.
