Ceasefire violations | Regime forces shell several positions in Sahl Al-Ghab and Jabal Al-Zawiyah

SOHR sources have reported that regime forces renewed their bombardment on the “de-escalation zone” in the early hours of Monday morning, targeting positions in Al-Sarmaniyah, Duwayr Al-Akrad in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western Hama, Sfuhen, Al-Faterah, Bayanin and Fulayfel in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

Meanwhile, exchange of machinegun fire erupted between regime forces and opposition factions on the frontlines of Jabal Al-Zawiyah. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

On Saturday, SOHR activist reported rocket fire by regime forces, in the past few hours, on positions in Al-Bara, Fulayfel, Bayanin and Sfuhen in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

On the other hand, exchange of heavy and medium machinegun fire erupted between regime forces and opposition factions on the frontline of Al-Mashari’ in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western countryside of Hama. However, no casualties were reported.

 

Meanwhile, Russian jets fired flares over Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib for the second consecutive day.
