Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that members of a Military Police checkpoint at the entrance of A’zaz city in Aleppo countryside have stopped a civilian from Hama and stripped him off his clothes and violated his rights and took his cellular phone and checked his private files despite his appeal not to do.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the civilian came from Jarablus city towards Afrin city to secure his brother, who was coming from Hama in escape of the compulsory service, however members of the checkpoint held the civilian for hours and stripped him off his clothes and insulted him, before releasing him for a ransom of 2,000 Turkish Liras.

On the same context, Military Police and National Army forces executed wide-range raid and security campaign against Deir Ezzor civilians on charges of “belonging to ISIS cells “.

This followed the events of Al-Sina’a prison in Ghuwayran neighbourhood in Al-Hasakah, where the number of detainees has risen to 20, with more arrests against Deir Ezzor civilians and strict security measures in A’zaz city.
